Core Accountabilities

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of a major cybersecurity initiative, specifically the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) implementation, scheduled for 2026.

  2. Develop comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans covering scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and budget management.

  3. Coordinate and align cross-functional teams spanning IT operations, security engineering, business units, and external vendors to successfully hit project milestones.

  4. Proactively identify, meticulously track, and manage all project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring their prompt resolution or timely escalation.

  5. Maintain transparent communication by providing regular, clear updates to all stakeholders via Project Portfolio Management (PPM) reports, dashboards, and formal presentations.

  6. Ensure that the project deliverables meet the core objectives of mitigating defined cybersecurity risks and measurably uplifting the organisation's NIST Cybersecurity Framework maturity level.

  7. Support critical processes such as procurement, vendor evaluation, and contract management where third-party technology or services are required.

  8. Champion robust project governance, meticulous documentation, and strict quality assurance practices throughout the project lifecycle.

  9. Develop and execute effective change management and user adoption strategies to ensure successful transition and maximum benefit realisation from new implementations.

Essential Selection Criteria

  1. Proven, extensive experience as a project manager delivering cybersecurity-focused initiatives and/or complex infrastructure projects with a significant security component.

  2. Mandatory and demonstrable experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) implementation projects.

  3. Solid technical understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, principles, and technologies (e.g., identity and access management, network security, threat detection, cloud security).
